Yes! The previous cards with the Riverside County Library System will no longer work at the Palm Desert Library. You can still use it at other nearby libraries though! 

Yes! You can print from your device or from one of our laptops. You will need a library card and you will have to sign in to a library laptop first before you can sing in to print. 

Yes! You can follow the quick link on our main page titled Wireless Printing. 

Our hours are Monday-Wednesday 10:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m., Thursday-Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Sunday 1:00-5:00 p.m. You can read more on our Hours and Location page

Yes! You can donate items to the Bookstore during normal open hours. They take books, DVD’s, Blu-Rays, puzzles, and CD’s. 

eBooks can be accessed on various library applications. Libby, Hoopla, and Freeding. Check our Resources page

Yes! Email us at libraryinfo@palmdesert.gov to learn more about the opportunities.  

Yes! The Wi-Fi is available while at the library on any device. Look for the PLD-GuestWL, connect, and surf! 

Every card holder gets $1.00 free print per day. If you use that, you will have to pay for anything over that. The $1.00 allowance does not roll over to another day.
