The Long Riders, 1980.  Directed by Walter Hill.  The brothers Carradine, Keach, and Miller Guest play the most famous gang of the Old West.  The Guest brothers play the killers of Jesse James.

The film demystifies the romantic image of the James Gang and the men who hunt them down.

John Curran is a Palm Desert resident and a retired US government computer security manager.  John has a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Science. He has been a passionate film aficionado for decades and has expanded his interests in retirement deeply into film noir & westerns. For the past six years, he has volunteered at Learning in Retirement, a non-profit adult education organization based in the city, and is one of the instructors for LIR.
