Palm Desert Discussions: Water Usage

The City of Palm Desert is excited to introduce Palm Desert Discussions, a new educational and interactive lecture series aimed at informing and engaging our community on important topics in our region.

Held six times a year, these bi-monthly events provide residents with the opportunity to hear directly from community partners and regional public agencies that provide services in Palm Desert. Through these insightful discussion sessions, attendees will gain a clearer understanding of the distinct roles and responsibilities of the City and its collaborators, fostering a more informed and connected community, and demystifying the process for residents to quickly find accurate information and answers when concerns arise.

The inaugural Palm Desert Discussions event is Wednesday, July 31, at 5:30 p.m., in the Palm Desert City Hall Council Chamber, 73510 Fred Waring Drive. Join us for an engaging conversation with staff from the Coachella Valley Water District (CVWD), who will share valuable information on water management and conservation in the Coachella Valley.

Disaster preparedness will be the topic for the second Palm Desert Discussions talk, which will take place on Wednesday, September 25, at 5:30 p.m., in the Community Room of the Palm Desert Library.

Visit EngagePalmDesert.com to find out about future Palm Desert Discussions sessions, as well as make suggestions on what agencies and service providers you would like to see included in this informative lecture series.
