Did you know that September is National Preparedness Month? While we live in a beautiful and peaceful region, the possibility of a natural or human-made disaster is always present. It is crucial for residents, business owners, and students in our region to be prepared with provisions to last at least two weeks. To help you get ready, we invite you to learn from experts at the Palm Desert Disaster Preparedness Fair, part of the Palm Desert Discussions series. This informative event will take place in the community room at the Palm Desert Library on September 25 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Get ready to be informed and inspired as we bring together top experts and organizations to help you and your family stay safe and prepared. Meet vendors from the Coachella Valley Disaster Preparedness Network, Riverside County Fire, Riverside County Sheriff, SoCalGas, and many more. They'll provide valuable insights, resources, and hands-on activities designed to equip you with the knowledge and tools needed to handle emergencies.

Whether you're looking to enhance your current preparedness plan or are just getting started, this fair is a fantastic opportunity to learn, ask questions, and connect with the community. Don't miss out on this fun and informative event! The Palm Desert Library is located at 73300 Fred Waring Dr, Palm Desert, CA 92260.
